Qualifying for medical cannabis
You must be a permanent Florida resident
You must be registered with the Compassionate Use Registry by your ordering physician.
You must have a qualifying condition approved and this condition has to be confirmed by a second, independent by a board-certified physician specializing in in that condition..
All other treatment options for your condition must have been tried
You must have an ordering physician who has determined that using medical cannabis would be beneficial to the patient
You must have obtained documentation from your treating physician that you meet all of these requirements
Patient must sign a written, informed consent for the use of an legalized form of medical cannabis
Patient must have a treating physician for at least three months preceding the recommendation for medical cannabis
